YOSEMITE. Mid-November. A hike to Mirror Lake in the cold rain scored a solitary experience, low lake level reflections I've not seen before, and vibrant Fall colors. The morning snow on Half Dome is striking and reminds me of the strenuous hikes beneath the face. We camped at Yosemite for a few days enroute from Tahoe to Pismo Beach, traveling the back route along Mono Lake and in through the Tioga Pass road the day before it closed for the season!
